The following homeopathic remedies can be taken every 10 minutes for up to 5 doses. These remedies should be taken in the 200c potency, and can be taken in the form of pills, tablets or drops. Pills and tablets should be sucked, and not swallowed. Drops can be taken directly on the tongue or in water.

Aconite is a major homeopathic remedy for intense fear. This remedy can be taken for panic attacks that are caused by a shock or from fright. Aconite should be taken if there is an extreme state of fear and anxiety.

Argentum Nitricum should be taken for fearand anticipatory anxiety. This is a good homeopathic remedy for panic attacks that occur before events, such as, flying, presentations or commuting.

Arsenicum Alb is another homeopathic remedyfor intense fear. This remedy is for restlessness that is usually associatedwith panic attacks.

It is very difficult to prescribe an accurate single homeopathic remedy during a panic attack, so it’s a good idea to have a combination remedy which can be taken quickly. Remember, the sooner that can you take the remedy, the shorter the duration of the panic attack.

Many homeopathic pharmacies produce the combination remedy, AAA (Argentum Nit, Ambra Grisea, Anacardium), which can bevery helpful in reducing panic attack episodes.
