Rahul Shah has been actively involved in the field of complementary medicine for over the past decade. After qualifying as a Pharmacist Rahul began his quest to discover the real answers to physical and emotional health. Early on in his Pharmacy career, Rahul discovered that his patients began to benefit from taking carefully selected complementary medicines.
His curiosity prompted Rahul to dig deeper in the field of natural medicine. In September 2000, Rahul undertook a Licenciate Practitioner course in Homeopathy at the Centre for Homeopathic Education in London. During this time he ran multiple homeopathic clinics. In 2002, Rahul undertook a placement at the natural health company, Weleda. At Weleda, he trained in the manufacturing and preparation of various Herbal and Homeopathic medicines. Rahul also gained valuable experience in providing information and recommending natural medicines to members of the public, doctors and other healthcare professionals.
The following year Rahul began work at the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital (RLHH). During his time at the hospital, Rahul progressed to become the head Clinical Pharmacist. Rahul also trained and supervised fellow staff in the use and preparation of Homeopathic, Herbal and Nutritional Medicine.
After graduating as a Homeopath in 2004, Rahul ran two clinics and wrote several health articles for the local press and community magazines. He has also given talks on the use of Homeopathic Remedies.
Rahul is currently a Pharmacist at Ainsworths Homoeopathic Pharmacy in London, and also incorporates conventional Pharmacy work to stay in touch with the continuous changes. He regularly attends complementary health workshops and personal development courses to keep up to date with new initiatives.
